Job Summary:

The Vendor Development Engineer will be responsible for preparing and analyzing cost estimates for products and components, evaluating vendor quotations, and supporting procurement and pricing decisions. The role requires strong technical understanding, cost analysis skills, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, procurement, and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare product costing and cost estimation for new and existing Products.

- Conduct techno-commercial evaluations of vendor offers.

- Develop and maintain cost models for materials, processes, and assemblies.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities through vendor development and process optimization.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of product costing and cost estimation techniques.

- Candidate should have prior experience in Automobile Industry

- Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.

- Experience in vendor development and supplier negotiations.

- Analytical mindset with MS Office Suit, good Excel, and ERP skills.

- Effective communication and coordination abilities.
