Job Description

Our client is a well-established MNC specializing in advanced semiconductor and manufacturing technology solutions. They are looking for a New Product Development Quality Director to join their Manufacturing team to develop high-precision mechanical modules for advanced semiconductor packaging applications.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive the New Product Development (NPD) process from a strategic and quality management perspective.
  • Lead quality planning and oversight throughout the product lifecycle, from design and development to product launch and customer implementation.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans to ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and other relevant quality standards.
  • Monitor industry trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to identify risks and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance robust quality management systems covering NPD, production, and post-launch support.
  • Establish and implement quality standards, reliability testing, validation processes, and quality control plans.
  • Lead quality activities from product conception through manufacturing process control and field performance analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or related subjects
  • Certification & knowledge of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000, IATF 16949 etc.)
