New Product Development (NPD) Manager – Food/FMCG

Location: Ludhiana, Punjab (On-Site)

Salary: ₹75,000 – ₹1,00,000 per month

Experience: 5–15 Years

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on NPD professional who can take food products from concept to commercialization. The role involves product formulation, trials, scale-up, and working closely with production teams to launch successful products in the market.

This is not a QA/QC or documentation-focused role. We are looking for someone who has actually developed products and worked on commercialization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new food products from concept to market launch

• Work on formulation, ingredient selection, and recipe optimization

• Conduct lab trials, pilot trials, and production trials

• Improve existing products in terms of taste, quality, shelf life, and cost

• Scale products from lab level to commercial production

• Work closely with production teams to ensure consistency and process efficiency

• Conduct shelf-life and stability studies

• Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards

• Coordinate with production, quality, procurement, and management teams

• Identify new product opportunities based on market trends and consumer demand

Required Qualifications

• B.Tech / M.Tech in Food Technology, Food Science, Dairy Technology, or a related discipline

• 5–15 years of hands-on experience in Food/FMCG Product Development (NPD)

• Strong experience in formulation, product trials, scale-up, and commercialization

• Good understanding of food manufacturing processes and production challenges

• Experience working directly with production teams

• Practical understanding of food safety regulations and quality standards
