Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Neurosurgeon role based at M. G. M. Muthoot Hospitals, Kozhencherry.
Daily responsibilities include conducting outpatient consultations, inpatient rounds, reviewing diagnostic imaging and test results, and developing evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
The role involves participating in on-call duties, providing perioperative and postoperative care, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and patient safety standards, and contributing to case discussions, teaching activities, and quality improvement initiatives within the hospital.
Qualifications
- Advanced clinical expertise in Neurosurgery and Neurology, with the ability to manage complex central and peripheral nervous system conditions.
- Strong proficiency in Spine and Spine Surgery, including assessment, operative management, and postoperative care of spinal disorders.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS) and completed specialization in Neurosurgery (MCh/DrNB or equivalent), with valid medical registration in India/Keralam.
- Demonstrated experience in a multi-speciality hospital setting, preferably with exposure to emergency and trauma neurosurgery.
- Excellent clinical judgment, diagnostic skills, and familiarity with modern neuroimaging and neuromonitoring techniques.
- Effective communication and team collaboration skills, with a commitment to ethical practice and patient-centered care.
- Ability to work in a high-acuity environment, manage on-call responsibilities, and maintain accurate medical documentation.
- Interest in teaching, mentoring, and participating in clinical audits and continuing medical education is an advantage.
