Neuroscience Specialist

Role Overview: Mandeha is seeking an Affective Neuroscience Scientist to provide a rigorous scientific foundation for our psychological frameworks. In this role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical human psychology and biological data. You will utilize neuro-technologies, including portable EEG, HRV, and various biosensors, to quantify emotional states, cognitive load, and psychological breakthroughs across diverse human experiences.

1. Psychological & Emotional Mapping

• Design and implement research protocols to measure emotional regulation, cognitive shifts, and personality dynamics.
• Utilize EEG and physiological markers to define and quantify optimal mental states and high-level cognitive functioning.
• Translate complex neurobiological data into accessible Mental Strength and Psychological Wellness reports for a general audience.

2. Product & Tool Development

• Collaborate with the leadership team to enhance existing psychological tools, sensors with neurofeedback integrations.
• Develop evidence-based interventions for emotional resilience and mental integration based on established models and frameworks in affective neuroscience.
• Ensure all psychological assessment data align with current neuroscientific findings regarding the human brain's response to environmental stimuli.

3. Field Research & Data Integrity

• Lead data collection in various environments to monitor real-time brain states and physiological responses.
• Validate internal psychological models through rigorous data analysis and the production of white papers or technical reports.
• Serve as the scientific lead when presenting findings to corporate partners or health organizations.

Education

• PhD or Masters in Cognitive Neuroscience, Affective Neuroscience, or Psychology with a significant emphasis on neuroergonomics or emotional processing.

Expertise

• Profound understanding of the neurobiology of emotion, specifically reward systems, stress response, and the executive functions of the prefrontal cortex.
• High proficiency in EEG/ERP analysis, including frequency band analysis (alpha, theta, beta) and hemispheric asymmetry.
• Hands-on experience with wearable biosensors and consumer-grade neuro-tech.

Technical Skills

• Advanced data analysis skills using Python (MNE) or MATLAB.
• Proven experience in psychometric tool design and statistical validation.

• Interdisciplinary Thinker: Ability to connect disparate psychological concepts through a unified neuroscientific lens.
• Effective Communicator: Skilled at translating neuroplasticity and affective states into empowering, actionable insights for the general public.
• Applied Researcher: A preference for seeing science applied in real-world settings rather than just a laboratory.
