Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and manage patients with neurological and neurosurgical disorders. Perform neurosurgical procedures in accordance with established clinical standards. Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care. Evaluate emergency neurosurgical cases and provide timely intervention. Collaborate with neurologists, radiologists, intensivists, anesthetists, and other specialists for multidisciplinary patient care. Review and interpret relevant investigations, including CT and MRI scans. Maintain accurate and complete medical records and surgical documentation. Participate in clinical discussions, case reviews, and departmental meetings. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical protocols, and patient-safety standards. Counsel patients and their relatives regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgical procedures, and expected outcomes. Qualification: MBBS with MS/DNB/MCh in Neurosurgery or equivalent recognized qualification. Valid registration with the appropriate medical council. Experience: Relevant experience as a Consultant Neurosurgeon preferred. Candidates with strong experience in both elective and emergency neurosurgical procedures are preferred. Skills & Competencies: Strong clinical and surgical expertise. Good decision-making and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to patient safety and quality healthcare.
