Networking Engineer

Description

We are seeking a Networking Engineer to join our dynamic IT team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network design, implementation, and management, with a focus on maintaining optimal performance and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure and architecture.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Ensure network security through proper configuration and monitoring of firewalls and other security devices.
• Collaborate with other IT staff to integrate new systems and applications into the existing network.
• Maintain documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Conduct regular network assessments and audits to ensure compliance and performance standards.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1-5 years of experience in networking, with a strong understanding of network protocols and technologies.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Knowledge of network security principles and practices.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud networking concepts and technologies.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.
