Network System Test Engineer (Manual/Solution)

• Perform manual testing of networking products, solutions, and system integrations
• Develop and execute test cases based on system requirements and specifications
• Validate end-to-end network system functionality, including routing, switching, and protocol behavior
• Troubleshoot and isolate system issues, log defects, and assist in root cause analysis
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including development, solution architects, and QA
• Conduct regression, functional, and performance testing of network solutions
• Document test results, test coverage, and provide feedback on test process improvements
• Simulate real-world network scenarios in lab environments to validate product readiness
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field
• Proven experience in manual testing within network systems or telecom environments
• Strong understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and switching
• Experience working with network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
• Familiarity with Wireshark or other packet analysis tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus
• Exposure to automation tools or scripting (Python, Bash) is an advantage
• Experience with telecom or ISP networks is desirable
