Network System Administrator

JOB Location: Middle East Countries, Brunei, Singapore and Malaysia

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
• Implement security measures to safeguard the network against unauthorized access and threats.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate new technologies and ensure compatibility with existing systems.
• Prepare documentation related to network configurations, procedures, and guidelines.
• Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery planning for network systems.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-10 years of experience in network administration or a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• Experience with network security practices and firewall management.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing routers and switches.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds) and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
