Job Description: Network Support Engineer (L2)
We are seeking a highly skilled
Network Support Engineer with a strong background in Service Provider (SP) environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco SP routers, routing protocols, and L2/L3 service technologies.
We are specifically looking for professionals who can join immediately or are currently serving their notice period, particularly those with experience at major telecom providers (e.g., Bharti-Airtel, RJIO, Vodafone) or specialized System Integrators.
Key Responsibilities
- Deployment & Migration: Support the deployment and migration of IP/MPLS networks for mobile network environments.
- Project Execution: Handle MOP (Method of Procedure) preparation, activity execution, and high-level troubleshooting.
- Technical Support: Provide end-to-end support for service delivery and network solution implementation.
- Network Management: Execute roles within IP/MPLS Provisioning, Change Management, and Problem Management.
- Multi-Vendor Integration: Manage migration scenarios including Cisco to Cisco, Huawei to Cisco, and Nokia to Cisco.
Technical Requirements- Hardware Expertise: 3–5 years of hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco SP high-end routers:
- NCS Series: NCS540, NCS5500
- ASR Series: ASR 920, ASR 903, ASR 9000 (ASR9K), ASR920i
- Core: CRS
- Protocols & Technologies: Deep understanding of IP Routing Protocols:
- OSPF, ISIS, BGP-LU, MP-BGP
- MPLS, LDP, L2VPN, L3VPN
- Operating Systems: Proficient in Cisco IOS-XR and IOS-XE platforms.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in a Service Provider or System Integration environment.
- Certifications: CCNA required; CCNP (SP/Enterprise) preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage vendors and multi-task under project deadlines.
- Flexibility: Must be comfortable working in night shifts and weekends to support migration windows.

- Secondary Locations: Chennai or Pune
- Availability: Immediate joiners or those serving a notice period are preferred.
