Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Arista Network Specialist to architect, deploy, and support our advanced network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Arista EOS, Leaf & Spine data center architectures, and modern network automation frameworks. This role will be responsible for ensuring network scalability, resilience, and optimized performance across enterprise and data center environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Arista-based Leaf & Spine network architectures for data centers and large enterprise environments.
- Configure and administer Arista EOS, CloudVision Portal (CVP), and associated automation/scripting tools.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex Layer 2 and Layer 3 network issues.
- Implement and optimize routing & switching protocols, including BGP, OSPF, VXLAN/EVPN, MLAG, and related technologies.
- Oversee network performance monitoring, incident management, capacity planning, and rootcause analysis.
- Perform firmware upgrades, lifecycle management, and adherence to network security standards.
- Document network designs, configurations, and operating procedures.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams during implementation and transformation projects.
- Drive network automation and orchestration initiatives using tools like Python, Ansible, and Arista automation APIs.
- Support high-availability and disaster recovery planning for network infrastructure.
Required Skills & Expertise
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in IT Network Management.
- Strong expertise with Arista EOS, CloudVision (CVP), and data center technologies.
- Demonstrated experience designing/operating Leaf & Spine architectures.
- Strong knowledge of EVPN/VXLAN, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MLAG, STP, and related protocols.
- Solid understanding of data center interconnects, network fabrics, and SDN concepts.
- Practical experience using network monitoring & analysis tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark, tcpdump, etc.).
- Knowledge of network security concepts such as ACLs, segmentation, and zerotrust principles.
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments and lead complex technical initiatives.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholdermanagement skills.
