Job Description for IT Network SME

Job Heading

We are looking for a passionate individual, having computer science/IT UG/PG background, and expertise in Networks design and network security management, with holistic experience towards implementation of VLAN, IGMP, ARP, 802.1x, QoS, DHCP, PPPoE, IPV6 etc.

Desirable Profile

• Total Relevant Experience: 10+ years.
• Job location: Navi Mumbai
• Technical Skills: L2 protocols, Network Infrastructure
• Good communication skills and logical ability.

Other Roles and Responsibilities

• CCNP / Fortinet Certified (FCP, FCSS, and FCX) certification must.
• Architecture & Design: Design and deploy scalable, secure, and resilient network architectures (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Cloud).
• Technical Leadership: Lead complex network projects, upgrades, and migrations (e.g., data centre refreshes).
• Advanced Troubleshooting: Provide Level 3/4 support for complex network issues that impact performance and security.
• Security & Compliance: Monitor firewalls, implement security policies (e.g., NIST, ISO27001), and manage network segmentation.
• Optimization: Analyse network traffic, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements for maximum efficiency.
• Vendor/Supplier Management: Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to evaluate new technologies and manage hardware/software lifecycles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and effective organizational and multi-tasking skills. Proven ability to quickly learn new technical domains and train others.
• Should be flexible to work in an operational environment, rotational shifts and on-call schedule.
• The knowledge of cloud network, firewalls, load balancer, API gateway, flapping, Network monitoring, coordinating with network vendor, last mile.
• Understanding of compliance baselines with its significance and ensure adhering to the standards.
• DR Server management and sync with primary location.
• Other general responsibilities as instructed by management.
