Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Network Security Team Lead to secure and manage Branch and Data Center network infrastructure. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with team mentoring, incident response ownership, and continuous improvement of network security operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the Network Security team, ensuring secure, resilient, and compliant Branch & DC network infrastructure
- Configure, manage, and optimize firewall platforms including Palo Alto and Fortinet
- Hands-on administration of network infrastructure:
- Switches & Routers
- Cisco ISE
- Meraki Switches & Wireless Access Points
- Act as the technical escalation point for major incidents, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal downtime
- Drive incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-incident reporting
- Develop and maintain network security documentation, architecture diagrams, SOPs, and inventories
- Support internal and customer stakeholders on vulnerability management and compliance requirements
- Ensure adherence to ITIL-based incident and change management processes
- Analyze and resolve complex network performance and bandwidth bottlenecks
- Align network security initiatives with organizational goals, timelines, and SLAs
Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Network & Security operations
- At least 1 year in a leadership or senior mentoring role
- Strong hands-on expertise with:
- Palo Alto / Fortinet Firewalls
- SD-WAN technologies
- Switching, Routing, Cisco ISE, Meraki platforms
- Solid understanding of network security principles, incident response, and vulnerability management
- Excellent analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- Self-driven, adaptable, and effective in fast-paced, multi-priority environments
- Experience working with ITIL processes and security documentation
- Strong time management and team coordination capabilities
Preferred Certifications
- Palo Alto Networks Certifications
- Fortinet NSE
- Cisco CCNP(added advantage)
