About the Role
We are hiring for one of our prime clients a Network Security Specialist to design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure within a multi-tenant, multinational environment. The role focuses on protecting systems and data against internal and external threats while ensuring compliance with global security standards.
This is a full-time, paid employment position.
Key Responsibilities
Network Security Operations
- Configure, manage, and monitor firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network security tools
- Implement secure network architectures, segmentation, and access controls
- Monitor network traffic and respond to security alerts and incidents
Threat Detection & Incident Response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Investigate and respond to security incidents and malware threats
- Maintain and participate in incident response planning and drills
Policy, Risk & Compliance
- Develop and enforce network security policies
- Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001 and applicable data protection regulations
- Support internal and external security audits
Continuous Improvement & Collaboration
- Stay current with evolving threats and security technologies
- Recommend and implement security enhancements
- Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders
- Prepare security status, risk, and incident reports
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in network security administration
- Strong knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network protocols
- Experience with SIEM tools and vulnerability assessment
- Understanding of cloud security concepts (Azure, AWS preferred)
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
- Preferred certifications (not mandatory):
- CISSP, CEH, CCNA Security, CompTIA Security+
- ITIL Foundation knowledge is a plus
