Network Security Engineer

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Bangalore, Chennai, Gurgaon, and Ahmedabad.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Security Operations

Deploy, configure, and manage network security solutions including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and web security solutions

Support and troubleshoot enterprise network security environments involving routing, switching, and SD-WAN technologies

Perform configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of security appliances such as FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer

Assist in the design and implementation of secure network architectures for enterprise environments

Implementation & Support

Participate in deployment and migration projects involving firewall upgrades, SD-WAN deployments, and security infrastructure changes

Configure and troubleshoot network connectivity across LAN, WAN, and Internet environments

Provide L2/L3 technical support for security incidents, performance issues, and configuration changes

Perform system testing, validation, and documentation during implementation activities

Customer & Project Collaboration

Work closely with customers and internal teams during deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting phases

Collaborate with the PMO team to ensure successful delivery of implementation projects

Provide knowledge transfer and technical guidance to customers and internal stakeholders

Maintain accurate documentation, technical reports, and implementation records

Continuous Improvement

Stay updated with the latest network security technologies and best practices

Analyze security incidents and recommend improvements to network security posture

Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency within the security operations team

Qualifications:

Must-Have

810 years of experience in network security implementation, consulting, or support roles

Strong experience with firewall technologies, VPN, IDS/IPS, and network security solutions

Hands-on experience with Fortinet products including FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer

Experience with SD-WAN deployment and troubleshooting

Strong understanding of routing and switching concepts

In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking

Experience supporting enterprise LAN/WAN/Internet environments

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Excellent communication and documentation skills

FCP certification or equivalent network security certification

Nice-to-Have

Experience working with global customers in enterprise environments

Experience in network security solution design and architecture

Exposure to migration and large-scale network deployment projects

Knowledge of advanced security technologies such as Web Application Firewall, Email Security, and Anti-Spam solutions

Experience working in customer-facing technical consulting roles
