Employment Type: Full-Time

Payroll: Ampleopp Solutions

Work Location: Remote (Work From Home)

Working Hours: US EST Shift

Preferred Locations: Hyderabad / Bangalore / Chennai

Experience Required: 5–7 Years

Mandatory Certification

  • Palo Alto Networks Certified Security Administrator (PCNSA) OR
  • Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)

Employment Terms: Either the employee or the company may terminate employment by providing 30 days written notice

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer with strong Palo Alto Networks expertise to support multiple client environments within a Managed Services Provider (MSP). The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying, managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing Palo Alto firewall infrastructure while ensuring adherence to SLAs, maintaining excellent documentation, and providing professional client communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Palo Alto Networks firewalls (Physical and Virtual).
  • Manage Security Policies, NAT Rules, App-ID, User-ID, and Content-ID.
  • Configure and support Site-to-Site VPNs and GlobalProtect Remote Access VPNs.
  • Monitor firewall performance, logs, and security threats.
  • Perform firewall upgrades, patching, backups, and recovery activities.
  • Troubleshoot network and security incidents, including critical P1 escalations.
  • Maintain compliance with client SLAs and operational procedures.
  • Provide regular client updates, incident summaries, and RCA documentation.
  • Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure secure network operations.

The client is looking for a Mid-Level Network Security Engineer who can:

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • 5–7 years of hands-on Network Security experience.
  • Active PCNSA or PCNSE certification (Mandatory).
  • Experience supporting multiple client environments.
  • Comfortable working during US EST business hours.
  • Strong ownership mindset and customer service orientation.
