Job Description
- We are seeking a highly skilledNetwork Cloud Security Engineerwith expertise in cloud network infrastructures, particularly inAWS cloud deployments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud security, network security in cloud environments, and hands-on experience withCisco Nexus switchesandPalo Alto firewalls. This role emphasizes securing cloud environments with a focus on AWS and related cloud networking configurations.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions primarily for cloud environments, specifically withinAWS.
- Manage the security of cloud infrastructure deployments, including AWS services and network configurations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure cloud-based applications and data within AWS.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshootPalo Alto firewallsto enforce network security policies..
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability management for network security within cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related security incidents and vulnerabilities in cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and implement best practices for security management within cloud network environments.
- Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of security tools and cloud networking setups.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in network and cloud security roles, with a focus onAWS cloud deployments.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience withAWSservices, including but not limited to VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.
- In-depth experience withCisco Nexus switchesand cloud networking.
- Expertise in configuring and managingPalo Alto firewallsfor securing cloud & on- premise environments.
- Experience with network security protocols, including VPN, IPSec, and SSL/TLS.
- Familiarity with tools such asAWS Security Hub,CloudTrail, and other AWS-native security features.
- Excellent understanding of network security best practices and emerging trends.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network security issues.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams.
Must-Have Certifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect AssociateorAWS Certified Security Specialty(Required).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications such asAWS Certified DevOps Engineer,Cisco CCNP,Palo Alto PCNSE, etc., will be considered an advantage.
- Experience with automation tools and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for secure cloud deployments
