Job Title: Network Security Engineer (Global Extranet Delivery)
Location: Chennai
Work Type: 4 Days WFO

Position Description:
Responsibilities:
- Design, install, configure, and deploy Extranet network and security solutions
- Lead migration efforts from Cisco to Palo Alto firewalls
- Perform firewall, router, and Nexus switch code upgrades
- Partner with technical teams to build robust and scalable network designs
- Provide 3rd-level troubleshooting, outage management, and technical support
- Review, validate, and approve change controls
- Deliver consulting services to customers to develop tailored network solutions
- Develop automation and scripting to optimize deployments and operations
- Recommend improvements to enhance performance, security, and reliability
- Provide technical training to Service Desk, Operations, and other stakeholders
- Participate in after-hours, weekend, and holiday support as required
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Network Security and Firewall operations
- Strong background in Network Engineering and Network Security, especially in Cisco environments
Palo Alto Networks
- Firewalls: 3400, 3800, 5200, 5400 series
- Panorama
- Prisma Access / Strata Cloud Manager
- Expertise in setup, configuration, management, troubleshooting, scripting, and upgrades
Cisco Systems
- Firewalls: Firepower (2100, 3100, 4100, 9300), Meraki MX67/MX68, ASA, FTD
- Management Platforms: Cisco Security Manager, Firepower Management Center, Meraki Console
- Routers/Switches: ISR1100, ASR100x, C8500, Nexus 9300/9500
- Skilled in setup, configuration, troubleshooting, management, and upgrades
Additional Skills
- Strong automation and scripting capabilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse global teams
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail and adaptability
