Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Network Security Engineer based in Bengaluru, with the flexibility of some work-from-home arrangements. The Network Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructures. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring network traffic, identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities, implementing cybersecurity measures, managing firewalls, and ensuring compliance with security protocols and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Network Administration and Network Engineering
• Strong expertise in Network Security and Cybersecurity practices
• Knowledge of Information Security protocols and standards
• Ability to analyze, assess, and address threat management and incident response
• Familiarity with tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPN technologies
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNA Security, or CEH are a plus
• Team collaboration skills coupled with the ability to work independently
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required
