Key Responsibilities:

• Network Design & Implementation:
• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and data center networks.
• Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
• Implement and maintain switching infrastructure, including VLANs, trunking, and QoS.
• Security Engineering:
• Design, implement, and manage firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks) to protect network perimeters.
• Configure and manage intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
• Implement and manage load balancers (e.g., F5, Nginx, HAProxy) to distribute traffic effectively.
• Deploy and manage WAF (Web Application Firewall) solutions.
• Implement and maintain antivirus and anti-malware solutions.
• Integrate and manage Zscaler security services (e.g., Zscaler Internet Access, Zscaler Private Access).
• Cloud Connectivity:
• Design and implement secure and reliable connections to public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Oracle).
• Configure and manage VPN connections (e.g., IPsec, Site-to-Site VPN).
• Implement and manage cloud networking services (e.g., Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), virtual networks).
• Client Engagement:
• Conduct thorough requirements gathering sessions with clients.
• Scope projects, define deliverables, and create project plans.
• Collaborate with clients to ensure successful project implementation.
• Provide ongoing technical support and guidance to clients.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance:
• Diagnose and troubleshoot network and security issues.
• Perform regular network maintenance tasks, including backups, upgrades, and patching.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
• Maintain accurate network documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in network and security engineering.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing protocols, and switching technologies.
• Experience with firewalls, load balancers, WAFs, and other security appliances.
• Experience with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Oracle).
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
