Position: Network & SDS Architect

Educational Qualification
- BE / B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA or equivalent qualification.
- Post-graduation in Technology preferred.
- Network/Security certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE etc. desirable
Experience
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in network/security implementation and/or management.
- Demonstrated experience in leading solution design and implementation of opensource SDS platforms.
- Experience in architecting on-premises, cloud, and hybrid storage architectures.
- Experience managing enterprise backup solutions and storage refresh/upgrade projects.
- Experience with WAN and backbone network protocols.
- Exposure to cloud networking and security (AWS, Azure, GCP) desirable.
- Strong program management exposure including costing and estimation awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architecture, design, implementation, and maintenance of Network and Software Defined Storage (SDS) platforms.
- Architect on-premises, cloud, and hybrid storage solutions.
- Design WAN and backbone network architectures (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc.).
- Manage and implement opensource Software Defined Storage solutions (CEPH preferred).
- Architect and oversee storage & backup solutions across EMC, HP, NetApp, Azure, AWS, and CEPH technologies.
- Lead private, public, and hybrid cloud storage solution design and deployment.
- Drive data migration and transformation programs, including cloud-based storage transitions.
- Ensure operability, reliability, security, performance, and sustainability of infrastructure platforms.
- Manage dependencies, risks, and stakeholder coordination for infrastructure change initiatives.
- Oversee backup products and Virtual Tape Libraries (VTLs).
- Ensure governance compliance with architecture frameworks and artefacts.
- Collaborate with network, compute, monitoring, and security teams for integrated solution delivery.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of routing & switching protocols.
- Working knowledge of Calico (Mandatory).
- Working knowledge of Linux (Mandatory).
- Strong understanding of storage and backup technologies (CEPH, NetApp, HP, Azure, AWS, GCP – experience in at least two).
- Knowledge of architecture frameworks and governance models.
- Familiarity with opensource products and operating systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
