Job Description

Location – Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Banagalore

Exp -12 to 25 yrs

Maintain the network infrastructure
Acknowledge, troubleshoot and resolve tickets that are assigned to the team in a correct way
Escalate incidents internally or to 3rd party partners when required
Participate, on a punctual basis on specific projects related to his/her specialty
The Network Engineer must have good interpersonal skills and must be a team player

Maintain the network infrastructure: Incident resolution, problem resolution
Troubleshooting, co-ordination with third party suppliers as well as with the central IT department of the customer
Advises the project team and ECTL in areas such as capacity management
Contingency planning, environment planning, configuration management and other relevant tasks related to the role
Design and implement network solutions
Maintains the relevant documents/manuals describing the network infrastructure
Provides input for incidents/problems/defects post-closure analysis to the incident/problem manager and/or the technical team leader
Provides input or organize regular knowledge transfer sessions

Work shifts of 8 hours covering the time range between 7–19 from Monday to Friday with some flexibility required when overtime is exceptionally needed / standby duty

Developing configuration standards - related to naming convention, security settings etc.
Developing scripts for collecting data/reports from device
Hardware refresh projects – from planning phase, through new device setup to migration and CMO status

Advanced troubleshooting including debugging, core dumps
Device node rebuild in case of failure or RMA
Adding or removing virtual firewalls (Check Point VS, SRX LSYS, Fortigate VDOM, Cisco Context)
Creating whole new physical firewall setups - both single and cluster
Device hardware refresh
Check Point exclusively - create, manage and troubleshoot Maestro setups, including single and dual site
Check Point exclusively - administer, troubleshoot and upgrade MDS and SMS management platforms
Check Point exclusively - managing through API
Check Point exclusively - set up, administer, upgrade and troubleshoot LOM
Juniper exclusively - build, administer and troubleshoot Junos Space environment (single site and DR setups), including JS Insights for logging
Cisco exclusively - build, manage and troubleshoot CSM platform
Fortigate exclusively - build, manage and troubleshoot FortiManager platform
