Job Description:
The Network Infrastructure service team is responsible for architecting, building, automating, and managing our Global Network Infrastructure in the datacenter and all three major public cloud providers. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will work with talented colleagues on challenging projects within the Global Infrastructure and Platform service team. Roles and Responsibilites:
- The person in this role will be primarily responsible for managing and supporting Rubrik's Network Infrastructure across on-prem DCs and the AWS, Azure, GCP & OCI Clouds, as well as Office connectivity used for all development and hosting services.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage and support all Network & Security Infrastructure running on AWS, Azure, GCP & OCI Clouds.
- Responsible for ensuring network stability and performance for Rubrik Inc. On-Premises and Public Cloud networks.
- Provide support for network infrastructure problems by monitoring the team's supportqueue, troubleshooting and diagnosing problems, identifying the root cause of critical issues, and ensuring corrective action is taken following problem identification.
- The candidate should be willing to work in shift rotation.
Experience You'll Need:
- 6+ years of extensive network engineering and implementing enterprise (Data
- centre/Public Clouds) at scale using industry standard networking solutions.
- Proficient in any (AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI) Public Cloud platforms. Public
- Cloud Network Certifications are a plus.(at least one cloud exp. Is needed)
- Understanding of Enterprise Network design, including Data Centre, Campus, Public
- Cloud, and Global WAN connectivity
- Understanding of Networking technologies: IPv4/IPv6, BGP/MBGP, VPN, L2 switching,
- and VxLAN.
- Understanding of L2/L3 networking protocols.
- Hands-on experience with multiple hardware vendors, must have (Arista – L2/L3/CVP),
- Cisco (Spinal leaf/ L2/L3) IOS, NX-OS, ASR, Meraki (Wireless), Palo Alto Networks,
- and Fortinet, is a plus.
- Experience with one or more Load Balancers – (Citrix NetScaler preferred, AVI Load
- Balancer, NGINX, and HA proxy).
- Knowledge of network layer security, including Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet,
- 802.1.x, Network Authentication Systems, and VPN technologies.
Good to have:
- Experience of architecture, designing.
- Automation Skills: Python, Terraform.
