About Position:

We are seeking Network Operation Lead hands on experience in SDA, SDWAN (Viptela), Palo Alto, etc.,

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations and maintenance of the network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network issues and outages, providing technical support and guidance to the network support team and other stakeholders.
  • Lead, mentor, and train network support engineers, conducting performance reviews and fostering professional growth.
  • Manage and optimize network configuration, performance, and security, ensuring compliance with company policies, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Develop, maintain, and audit network documentation, policies, and procedures.
  • Evaluate new network technologies and solutions, providing recommendations and detailed reports to management.
  • Coordinate and implement network projects, upgrades, and migrations, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Maintain network inventory, monitoring systems, and ensure all assets are integrated with security monitoring tools (e.g., SIEM).
  • Analyse and report on network performance, utilisation, and incident patterns, presenting actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Ensure all user-facing network services are maintained to a high standard and that service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently exceeded.
  • Manage technical escalations, incident management, and change management processes, including root cause analysis and problem resolution.
  • Participate in audits, compliance reviews, and periodic customer or stakeholder reviews for network services.
  • Maintain and manage team shift rosters and ensure adequate coverage for 24/7 operations if required

Expertise You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network administration, engineering, or management, with at least 3 years in a team lead or supervisory role.
  • Advanced knowledge of network protocols, architectures, and devices (routers, switches, firewallsespecially Palo Alto, VPNs, load balancers, wireless networks).
  • Proficiency with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, Cisco Packet Tracer, firewall logs).
  • Strong understanding of incident management (P1P4), change management, and service request processes.
  • Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Experience with Cisco SDA, SDWAN (Viptela), Cisco ISE, Meraki wireless, and ITIL framework is desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and prioritize effectively.
  • Willingness to work on-call, after hours, or weekends as needed.
  • ITIL, Networking, Technical Support, Troubleshooting, Incident Management, Network Administration, Routers, Switches, Firewalls (including Palo Alto), Wireless (Cisco/Meraki), Monitoring, Security.
  • Performance Optimization, Policy Development, Service Management, Vendor Coordination
