Network Observability - SRE

• Install, configure, and maintain RHEL servers in physical, virtual, or cloud environments.
• Perform regular system updates, kernel patching, and OS-level security configurations.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to CPU, memory, storage, and networking.
• Automate routine tasks using shell scripting or configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible).
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and file systems (LVM, NFS, etc.).
• Maintain system documentation and support disaster recovery plans.
• Work closely with application teams to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Support compliance with security policies and conduct vulnerability remediation.

Kubernetes admin:

• Install, configure, and upgrade Kubernetes clusters or OpenShift Cluster (on-premise or in cloud environments like IBM Cloud, AWS, ROSA etc).
• Manage cluster resources, namespaces, RBAC, ingress controllers, and storage classes.
• Monitor cluster health and node performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
• Automate deployment processes using Helm and CI/CD pipelines (Tekton/Jenkins).
• Implement and enforce security best practices (Pod Security Policies, Network Policies, Secrets management).
• Troubleshoot pod/container issues and optimize application deployments.
• Coordinate with DevOps, Development, and Security teams to support workloads and service mesh integrations (Istio, Envoy, Consul).
