Primary Job Title: Network Engineer
A provider in the IT Infrastructure & Network Services sector, delivering enterprise-grade connectivity, security, and managed network solutions to customers across industries. We operate a high-availability, on-premises network environment and seek an on-site Network Engineer in India to maintain and scale mission-critical infrastructure.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN and campus network infrastructure; configure routers and switches for high availability and performance.
- Deploy and manage routing protocols and services including BGP and OSPF; implement MPLS and site-to-site VPNs for multi-site connectivity.
- Configure, tune, and operate firewalls and access-control policies; enforce network security best practices and perform vulnerability mitigations.
- Investigate and resolve complex network incidents; perform packet captures and root-cause analysis using Wireshark and network telemetry (SNMP/NetFlow).
- Drive network automation initiatives using configuration management and scripting to improve deployment consistency and reduce MTTR.
- Maintain accurate network documentation, execute change-control procedures, and collaborate with infrastructure, security, and operations teams for upgrades and rollouts.
