Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer / Cloud Networking Specialist to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and high-performance network infrastructures across on-premise and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will ensure reliable connectivity, cloud network optimization, and strong security controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise and cloud-based network architectures
- Manage cloud networking services (VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, gateways)
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
- Implement and manage VPNs, site-to-site and client-to-site connections
- Ensure network security, firewall rules, and access control policies
- Monitor network performance, availability, and troubleshoot issues
- Optimize network latency, bandwidth, and cost in cloud environments
- Support hybrid and multi-cloud networking setups
- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure teams
- Document network designs, configurations, and standard operating procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF)
- Hands-on experience with routing and switching
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Proficiency in firewalls, load balancers, and network security concepts
- Experience with VPN, NAT, VLAN, and SD-WAN technologies
- Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, AWS/Azure Networking certifications
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Knowledge of Zero Trust Networking
- Exposure to Kubernetes networking (CNI, ingress, service mesh)
- Experience with automation and scripting (Python, Bash)
- Understanding of network compliance and security standards
