Job Summary
We are seeking a Network Engineer with hands-on experience in network administration, server management, and desktop support. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the organization's network infrastructure, managing user accounts, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
Network Administration
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks.
Create and manage VLANs for network segmentation and security.
Configure and maintain routers and switches.
Perform network cable crimping, punching, testing, and troubleshooting.
Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.
Maintain network documentation, IP addressing schemes, and network diagrams.
Server Administration
Manage and maintain Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS).
Create, modify, disable, and delete user accounts and groups.
Manage user permissions, password policies, and access controls.
Troubleshoot domain-related issues and user authentication problems.
Support file sharing, printer services, and basic Windows Server administration.
System Administration & Desktop Support
Install and configure operating systems using ISO images.
Perform system deployment, upgrades, and hardware installations.
Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, and peripheral device issues.
Ensure systems meet organizational hardware and software requirements.
Install, configure, and maintain software applications and drivers.
Provide technical support to end users and resolve IT service tickets.
Required Skills
Strong understanding of Networking Fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, LAN/WAN).
Hands-on experience with Router and Switch Configuration.
Knowledge of Structured Cabling, Crimping, and Punching.
Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory Administration.
Knowledge of User Account Management and Group Policy basics.
Experience in Operating System Installation and System Configuration.
Basic understanding of network security best practices.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are an advantage.
Experience with network monitoring and ticketing tools is preferred.
