Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage and support network operations, including change implementation and escalation support.
- Work with cloud platforms, especially GCP, for network integration and monitoring.
- Administer and troubleshoot Cisco routing and switching technologies including Catalyst and Nexus devices.
- Manage and maintain Cisco/Meraki wireless technologies and associated infrastructure.
- Support and configure SD-WAN, preferably VeloCloud.
- Handle Palo Alto firewall operations and Panorama for policy and security management.
- Perform tasks related to F5 Load Balancer, Big-IP, LTM, and GTM.
- Manage IOS upgrades, network device replacements, certification, and license management.
- Provide advanced L2/L3 network troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Collaborate with operations teams to resolve P1, P2, and P3 incidents.
- Raise and manage TAC cases with OEMs and escalation tickets with ISPs.
- Work on network automation initiatives and scripting for infrastructure tasks.
- Perform incident and change management activities as part of NOC operations.
- Participate in bridge and triage calls involving cross-functional teams.
- Maintain knowledge of ACI, ServiceNow, Cisco Prime, BlueCat DNS, and SolarWinds.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
Required Skills:
- Strong practical knowledge of LAN, WAN, SDWAN, WLAN, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP, VPN, NAT, ACL, Wireless troubleshooting, MPLS, Firewall monitoring, Proxy, and Spanning Tree optimization.
- Hands-on experience in network troubleshooting, remote support, IOS upgrades, and device replacements.
- Familiarity with ITIL, incident management, and change control processes.
- Ability to work in a 24/7 environment and on rotational night shifts.
- Knowledge of tools like ServiceNow, Cisco Prime, BlueCat DNS, SolarWinds.
- Networking certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE are preferred.
- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple teams.
