Job Description

  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
  • Experience with network access control solutions and 802.1x.
  • Experience with Cisco IOS, IOS XE, Nexus OS, Firepower Threat Defense and ASAs. 
  • Experience with Cisco Wireless Controllers.
  • Experience with quality of service prioritizing video and voice traffic.
  • Experience with dynamic routing protocols OSFP, BGP.
  • Experience with VOIP technologies and telephony systems.
  • Experience with structure network cabling and wire management
  • Experience with uninterrupted power supply electronics and IT infrastructure power requirements. 
  • Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.
  • Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches.
  • Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
  • Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.
  • Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization.
  • Able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Dependable and flexible when necessary.
  • Be available for upgrades, troubleshooting and projects that may occur after traditional office hours.
  • Cisco Certified CCNA or CCNP certificate a plus.
