We are looking for a Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, high-performance network infrastructure that supports Scry AI's enterprise AI platforms and internal operations. This role is critical in ensuring secure connectivity, optimal performance, and high availability across on-premise and cloud environments.

Role Overview

As a Network Engineer at Scry AI, you will be responsible for managing network architecture, monitoring system performance, and ensuring robust security controls across enterprise infrastructure. You will work closely with DevOps, security, and engineering teams to support scalable deployments of AI-driven applications in client and cloud environments.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex connectivity challenges, optimizing performance, and building secure, resilient infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities

Network Design & Implementation

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud network architectures
• Deploy and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
• Support hybrid infrastructure environments across on-premise data centers and cloud platforms

Network Security & Compliance

• Implement network security policies, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls
• Monitor traffic to detect vulnerabilities, threats, and anomalies
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and certifications such as SOC2 and ISO 27001

Monitoring, Performance & Troubleshooting

• Monitor network performance, uptime, and bandwidth utilization
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity, latency, and configuration issues
• Maintain documentation of network configurations and architecture diagrams

Cloud & DevOps Collaboration

• Work closely with DevOps teams to support cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Configure VPCs, subnets, routing tables, and secure access controls
• Support CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable infrastructure connectivity

Business Continuity & Reliability

• Implement backup connectivity strategies and disaster recovery plans
• Ensure high availability and minimal downtime for mission-critical AI platforms
• Continuously optimize network performance and scalability

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF)
• Experience configuring enterprise-grade firewalls, routers, and switches
• Hands-on experience with cloud networking in AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of VPNs, SSL/TLS, load balancing, and network security best practices
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and network automation concepts
• Relevant certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent, are a plus
