Network Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure.
• Network design and implementation: Work closely with other members of the Network and Security Team to implement and deploy network infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Network maintenance and troubleshooting: Work closely with the Service Delivery Team to perform regular maintenance tasks and help troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Travel: International or domestic travel will be required for this role.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience of 5+ Years as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
• Experience working within a global enterprise organisation.
• Experience with network security, including LAN, WLAN, SDWAN, VPNs, and Security.
• Previous experience working on greenfield and brownfield deployments.
• Certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent are a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyse and resolve complex network issues.
• Demonstrate resilience in the face of challenges and uncertainties, maintaining a solution-orientated approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to understand and capture business requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven self-starter working well with minimal supervision.
• Education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Preferred Technology -VLAN, Cisco Catalyst, Spanning Tree, VRF, Routing, Meraki.
• Nice to have -Check Point, SDWAN, AWS/Azure networking,Infrastructure (VMWare/Hyper-V), Linux.
