We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hardware & Network Engineer responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving the organization's IT infrastructure. The candidate will ensure smooth functioning of hardware systems, network connectivity, and overall IT operations across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:Hardware Management:· Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment
· Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues and perform timely repairs or replacements
· Manage inventory of IT assets and ensure proper documentation
· Ensure proper installation and maintenance of CCTV systems and biometric devices
Network Management:· Set up, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN networks
· Monitor network performance and ensure minimal downtime
· Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and access points
· Troubleshoot network issues including connectivity, speed, and security concerns
System & IT Support:· Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues
· Install and update operating systems, antivirus software, and applications
· Manage user accounts, access rights, and basic server support
· Ensure data backup and recovery processes are followed
Security & Compliance:· Maintain network security and ensure systems are protected from threats
· Implement basic cybersecurity measures (firewalls, antivirus, access control)
· Ensure compliance with company IT policies and standards
Coordination & Maintenance:· Coordinate with external vendors for hardware servicing and AMC
· Maintain IT documentation, logs, and reports
· Support new branch setup including network and hardware installation
Required Skills & Qualifications:· Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
· Proven experience in hardware and network support
· Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
· Hands-on experience with routers, switches, and firewalls
· Familiarity with Windows OS, basic server management, and troubleshooting
· Good problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Skills:· Certifications like CCNA / CompTIA / MCSE (added advantage)
· Experience in handling multi-location infrastructure
· Basic knowledge of cloud platforms and remote support tools
