JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Palo Alto Firewalls, Routing, and Switching. The ideal candidate must have solid implementation, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting experience in enterprise network environments.
Strictly NO monitoring-only profiles.
Firewall (Palo Alto)
- End-to-end installation, configuration, and implementation of Palo Alto firewalls.
- Creation & modification of Security Policies, NAT rules, VPNs (IPSec/SSL).
- Hands-on experience with Panorama (preferred).
- Performing firmware upgrades, HA configuration, failover testing, and daily operational troubleshooting.
- Log analysis and security event investigation.
Routing & Switching
- Implementation and configuration of L2/L3 network devices (Cisco/HP/Juniper etc.).
- Strong understanding of:
- OSPF, BGP, EIGRP
- VLANs, STP, HSRP/VRRP
- EtherChannel/Port-Channel
- Managing network changes, migrations, and cutovers in live environments.
General Responsibilities
- Participate in 24/7 rotational shifts including nights/weekends as required.
- Handle on-site installation, change requests, and incident resolution.
- Maintain documentation for network configurations and procedures.
- Coordinate with internal teams, OEMs, and vendors for escalations.
Required Skills & Experience
- 37 years of hands-on experience in Network Engineering.
- Mandatory expertise in Palo Alto Firewall (Implementation level).
- Strong practical knowledge in Routing & Switching.
- Experience in enterprise or banking domain preferred.
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
