Network Segmentation Engineer – OT Systems
We are seeking a Network Segmentation Engineer – OT Systems to design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures across Operational Technology (OT) environments. The role will focus on improving cyber resilience through effective network segmentation, firewall management, and security architecture aligned with defence-in-depth principles.

Responsibilities
- Work with Manufacturing Sites, Engineering, and Technology teams to analyse existing OT architecture, strategy, and processes.
- Analyse, define, and implement new structures and processes for existing OT Firewall VLANs to ensure they align with defined internal segmentation principles.
- Develop and implement reference architectures for standard services and applications within the OT environment.
- Define, review, and approve OT firewall rules to facilitate integration with IT and MES systems while maximising protection of automation systems hosted on the OT network infrastructure.
- Work with sites to ensure that changes are responded to and completed with the appropriate urgency to minimise cybersecurity risks.
- Support sites in recovery from cybersecurity incidents and investigations.
- Work with sites to ensure automation and lab systems are protected with the appropriate level of cybersecurity protection and security controls based on a defence-in-depth principle.
Essential Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an IT/OT Network or Cybersecurity professional.
- Strong experience with Palo Alto Firewalls.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to interface with operational teams, capital projects, and senior management within the organisation.
Desirable
- Experience with Elisity Micro segmentation Platform.
