Description
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of networking concepts and experience in managing network infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and manage network systems and infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to optimize network systems.
- Maintain and update network documentation and diagrams.
- Ensure network security protocols are followed and updated as necessary.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role.
- Proficient in routing and switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
- Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds).
- Knowledge of network architecture and design principles.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.
