Description
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in network design, implementation, and management, with a focus on ensuring reliable and secure network operations.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and manage network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure network security and availability.
- Document network configurations, policies, and procedures for reference and compliance.
- Support network-related projects and provide technical guidance to junior staff.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-7 years of experience in network engineering or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.).
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco and Juniper networking equipment.
- Experience with network security technologies (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS).
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and performance optimization techniques.
- CCNA or similar network certification is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
