Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled
L3 Network Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in
Cisco ACI, Routing Protocols, Security Firewalls, and Load Balancers. The ideal candidate will act as the
final escalation point (L3), handling complex network issues, driving RCA, and leading design and implementation of enterprise network solutions.
Mandatory Skills (Strict Requirement)- Hands-on experience in Cisco ACI (Multi-Pod / Multi-Site)
- Strong expertise in Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP)
- Experience in at least 2 firewall technologies:
- Palo Alto / Cisco FTD / Check Point / Fortinet
- Real-time experience with Load Balancers (Citrix / F5)
- Strong exposure to production network environments (recent experience mandatory)
Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork Design & Implementation
- Design and implement enterprise network and data center solutions
- Deploy and manage Cisco ACI & SDN environments
- Work on Multi-Pod and Multi-Site ACI architectures
- Define and implement tenant, EPG, contracts, and fabric policies
Operations & Troubleshooting (L3 Escalation)
- Act as final escalation point for L2 team
- Troubleshoot complex issues across underlay and overlay networks
- Perform deep-dive RCA for critical incidents
- Handle P1/P2 incidents with ownership until closure
Security & Load Balancing
- Configure and manage Next-Gen Firewalls (Cisco / Palo Alto)
- Implement and optimize security policies, NAT, ACLs
- Manage and troubleshoot Citrix / F5 Load Balancers
- Ensure network security and compliance standards
AAA & Infrastructure Management
- Configure and manage Cisco AAA (TACACS+/RADIUS)
- Ensure secure authentication, authorization, and accounting controls
Documentation & Governance- Create and maintain:
- HLD / LLD documents
- SOPs / MOPs
- RCA reports
- Follow ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor L2 engineers and provide technical guidance
- Work with cross-functional teams (Security, DC, Application)
- Participate in CAB discussions and change validations
Technical Skills Required
- Cisco ACI (APIC, Multi-Site, Multi-Pod)
- Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
- Firewalls (Palo Alto / Cisco FTD / Check Point / Fortinet)
- Load Balancers (Citrix / F5)
- Cisco IOS / NX-OS
- TCP/IP, VLAN, VRF, VXLAN
- Strong troubleshooting in Layer 2–Layer 7 environments
Education & Certifications- Mandatory: B.E / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc (Regular Only)
- Experience: Minimum 8+ years (4+ years hands-on in relevant technologies)
- Preferred Certifications:
- CCNP / CCIE
- PCNSE (Palo Alto)
- CISSP (Good to have)
