We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our team in Bhiwandi. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in network design, implementation, and maintenance, along with hands-on experience in managing network infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our network systems and supporting the organization's IT needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Network Design and Implementation:
Design, configure, and implement network solutions based on organizational requirements.
Set up and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Network Monitoring and Maintenance:
Monitor network performance to ensure reliability and efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner.
Perform regular network maintenance, including updates and patches.
Technical Support:
Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams regarding network-related issues.
Collaborate with other IT staff to support and integrate network solutions.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps.
Prepare reports on network performance and incidents.
Security Management:
Implement and manage network security protocols to protect data and systems.
Monitor for and respond to potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in network engineering or a related role.
Proven experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software.
Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
Knowledge of network security practices and tools.
Experience with network monitoring tools and performance optimization.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Desired Skills:
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.
Experience with cloud-based networking solutions is advantageous.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
