Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain enterprise network infrastructure with a focus on Routing, Switching, and Fortigate SD-WAN.
- Configure and monitor core controllers and network policies to ensure smooth network operations.
- Perform L3-level troubleshooting for escalated incidents and ensure timely resolution.
- Implement and optimize network performance, redundancy, and security.
- Collaborate with OEM vendors and internal IT teams for upgrades and issue resolution.
- Maintain and update documentation, network topology diagrams, and configuration details.
- Ensure compliance with HPCL's IT and security standards.
- Participate in network improvement projects and provide technical leadership to junior engineers.
Required Skills & Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of Routing (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and Switching (VLANs, STP, trunking, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Fortigate SD-WAN configuration and policy management.
- Expertise in core controller configuration and policy-based networking.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills for complex network environments.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and firewall policies.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-availability enterprise setup.
Qualifications:
- Education: B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
- Certification:CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) mandatory.
- Experience: 812 years in enterprise-level network management and operations.
