Roles & Responsibilities :
- Design and implement functional network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN).
- Configure and install hardware devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system availability.
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including patches, service packs, and security configurations.
- Implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
- Collaborate with IT teams to optimize network performance and user experience.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and changes.
- Provide technical support and guidance to users and teams.
- Conduct regular system backups and disaster recovery operations.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Skills and Qualification :
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and hardware.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network equipment.
- Expertise in networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc.).
- Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and security best practices.
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG).
- Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, ) preferred.
