We are hiring a Network L1 Engineer with hands-on experience in routing & switching, BGP/OSPF configuration, ISP coordination, and network monitoring tools to ensure reliable network operations and quick issue resolution.
About The Role
Serve as the primary
Network L1 Engineer responsible for router/switch configuration, basic troubleshooting, ISP coordination, and network monitoring using SolarWinds, Wireshark, and PRTG. Handle day-to-day network operations, ticketing via ServiceNow, and support L2/L3 network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute basic router/switch configurations (backup, show commands)
- Configure and troubleshoot L2/L3 switches and VLANs
- Manage stack switches and VTP modes (Vlan Trunking Protocol)
- Perform router configuration and troubleshooting
Network Monitoring & Tools
- Use SolarWinds for packet capture/analysis
- Analyze traffic with Wireshark (packet capture viewer)
- Monitor link utilization with PRTG
- Manage ServiceNow ticketing processes
- Configure SNMP ports (161, 162)
