About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Automation Engineer to join our team at TEKsystems. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions to enhance network efficiency and reliability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to automate network provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking protocols, programming, and automation frameworks, with a passion for leveraging technology to solve complex network challenges. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a combination of technical expertise and practical experience, including:
- Proven understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, DNS, and DHCP.
- Proficiency in programming languages including Python, Go, or JavaScript.
- Experience with network automation frameworks like Ansible, Terraform, Netmiko, and NAPALM.
- Familiarity with Software-Defined Networking (SDN) technologies such as Cisco ACI and VMware NSX, as well as cloud networking platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Strong knowledge of APIs and RESTful services for network device integration.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities
