Hiring: Network Engineer (2–5 Years Experience)
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to manage, optimize, and support low-latency network infrastructure across trading, office, and data center environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in networking, Linux systems, troubleshooting, and automation within high-performance production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot outages, latency, and connectivity issues
- Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and QoS services
- Provide hands-on support for production, office, and data center networking environments
- Perform network optimization, upgrades, and firmware updates
- Automate network configuration deployment and infrastructure management
- Support and administer firewall environments
- Troubleshoot networking and Linux-related production issues
- Work closely with systems and engineering teams for infrastructure reliability
- Handle hardware changes, software installations, and upgrades on Linux-based servers
- Maintain stable and secure networking infrastructure in live environments
- Support multicast networking protocols including PIM and IGMP
- Ensure minimal downtime and maximum network efficiency
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Routing & Switching concepts
- Hands-on experience with:
- VLANs
- Inter-VLAN Routing
- VTP
- STP
- EtherChannel
- Layer 3 Networking
- BGP
- Static & Dynamic Routing Protocols
- Experience with Firewall & Security technologies
- Expertise in:
- Cisco ASA
- Palo Alto Firewalls
- Knowledge of VPN technologies:
- IPsec VPN
- SSL VPN
- Site-to-Site VPN
- Strong Linux networking knowledge
- Experience with Shell/Python scripting for automation
- Familiarity with monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Understanding of multicast routing protocols (PIM, IGMP)
- Exposure to AWS networking is an added advantage
Qualifications
- Engineering degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred
- 2–5 years of relevant networking experience
- CCNP certification preferred
- Experience working in high-performance or production-critical environments preferred
