Job Title: Network Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and configure firewalls (Fortinet, Sophos, Cisco), including DMZ, load balancing, and bandwidth control.
- Implement and maintain VPN solutions (Site-to-Site and Remote Access).
- Configure and manage routing and switching protocols (BGP, VLANs, Layer 2/Layer 3).
- Monitor network performance and proactively troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.
- Manage Cisco switching and wireless infrastructure, including WLC and Meraki access points.
- Deploy, maintain, and expand campus-wide Wi-Fi networks.
- Administer network services such as DNS, DHCP, and FTP.
- Manage virtualization platforms including VMware, vCenter, VxRail, and Nutanix.
- Coordinate with OEMs such as Fortinet, Cisco, Dell, and F5 for support and implementation.
- Ensure WAN uptime and coordinate with ISPs for issue resolution and performance optimization.
- Prepare BOQ/BOM and maintain accurate network documentation.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong expertise in firewall management (Fortinet / Sophos / Cisco)
- In-depth knowledge of routing and switching technologies
- Proficiency in VPN configuration and troubleshooting
- Solid understanding of network security and policy management
- Experience with LAN/WAN architecture design and implementation
- Knowledge of wireless networking and enterprise Wi-Fi deployments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and vendor coordination abilities
Experience (Preferred):
- Relevant experience in network administration, infrastructure management, or similar roles is desirable.
