Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network & Firewall Engineer responsible for designing, managing, and securing enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless connectivity, high availability, robust firewall security, and efficient network provisioning across shared services and environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure
- Implement and manage firewall policies across environments
- Handle VLAN configuration and IP address management (IPAM)
- Establish and maintain secure VPN connectivity (Site-to-Site & Client VPN)
- Monitor network performance and ensure high availability
- Troubleshoot complex network and connectivity issues using tools like Wireshark
- Manage and optimize SD-WAN environments
- Work closely with cross-functional teams for network-related requirements
- Ensure adherence to change management and security protocols
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Routing & Switching
- Hands-on experience with Firewall Management (Fortinet / Palo Alto / Cisco ASA)
- Expertise in networking protocols: BGP, OSPF, STP
- Experience with VLANs and IP Address Management (IPAM)
- Proficiency in VPN technologies
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Good to Have
- Certifications such as CCNA / CCNP / Fortinet NSE 4+
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG)
- Familiarity with change management processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
