Network Engineer

Role Overview and Responsibilities

Dhruva Space is seeking a skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. As a leading space technology company, we design and develop advanced solutions to support the expanding needs of the global space industry. The Network Engineer will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our network infrastructure across both on-premises and cloud environments. This role requires deep technical expertise, a proactive approach to performance optimization, and a strong commitment to network reliability and security.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), and switching infrastructure.
• Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs (IPSec/SSL), and implement network security policies.
• Manage high-availability and redundancy configurations using HSRP/VRRP and related technologies.
• Integrate and manage hybrid cloud networking services, ensuring seamless connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.
• Monitor network performance, analyze traffic, and optimize for reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support network upgrades, migrations, and implementation of new technologies.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Support compliance with organizational security standards and best practices.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–6 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking environments.
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, and network protocols.
• Proficiency with firewall configuration, VPN setup, and network security best practices.
• Experience working with cloud networking services, preferably AWS (VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53, etc.).
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty are preferred.
• Knowledge of hybrid network integration and cloud connectivity solutions.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues.
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
