Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer (L2) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the network infrastructure, with a focus on routing and switching configurations. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper switches, along with a solid understanding of firewall operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Manage VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), ensuring network redundancy and load balancing.
• Respond to complex network incidents and provide second-line support for escalated issues from L1 engineers.
• Participate in network upgrades and improvements, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
• Proficiency in Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols (VLANs, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other networking protocols.
• Create IPSec VPNs in routers.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly.

Candidate Requirements:

• Relevant Experience: 5 to 8 years (as per client definition for L2).
• Certifications: CCNA and CCNP.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper switches.
• Basic firewall operations knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting and support skills in a NOC environment.
