Senior Network Engineer - Experience (7-10 years)
- Subject Matter Expert in Routing, Switching and Wireless.
- Expertise in Cisco, HPE Aruba routers, switches & wireless devices, with solid understanding of Layer 2 (VLAN, STP, Tr
- unking, stacking) and Layer 3 protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
- Proven hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, troubleshooting at enterprise routing and switching protocols.
- Proven hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, troubleshooting wireless infrastructure for any enterprise, retail or manufacturing environment specifically using HPE Aruba WAPs or Cisco Meraki.
- Proven hands-on experience in handling any firewalls and load balancers.
- Expertise in handling passive network cablings, physical installation of networking devices.
- Experience in handling firmware upgrades, patch updates & life-cycle of devices.
- Hands-on experience with Aruba Central for managing wired and wireless devices would be preferred.
- Expertise in handling IP addressing schema.
- Network Design experience would be an asset.
- Knowledge or hands-on experience in handling tools required for designing networks (eg., Visio, Lucid, Draw.io).
- Excellent communication skills (Written/Verbal) to interact directly with clients.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team.
- Experience in working with all ITIL processes (Incident, Change & Problem Management)
- Would be required to be on flexible schedule according to the client requirements.
- Would be required to work on weekends or off-hours for any implementations or change requests as per client maintenance windows.
- Would be required to work in shifts if required and be available for any on-call support during weekends and off-hours.
- Cisco or HPE Aruba professional certifications in the areas of Routing & Switching or Wireless.
Qualifications: -
- Bachelors/masters in I.T or equivalent
