Summary:
Client is seeking a Network Engineer who is able to independently design, implement, and troubleshoot complex network solutions. This role supports enterprise environments and contributes to planning, performance optimization, and secure configuration of systems while mentoring junior team members and contributing to strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement network solutions within a complex infrastructure
- Administer network services and ensure optimal performance
- Analyze, debug, and resolve network traffic and connectivity issues
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies into the environment
- Document technical processes and infrastructure changes
- Provide support during network-related incidents and upgrades
- Ensure security compliance and maintain documentation standards
- Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation
Requirements:
- Typically requires a Bachelor&rsquos degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and a minimum of 5 years of related experience or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience or equivalent related work experience
Required Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN technologies
- Experience with Cisco ASA Firewalls, load balancers (F5, A10), and cloud networks
- Expert understanding of core networking technologies including: BGP, EIGRP, Cisco routing and switching infrastructure (IOS/ IOSXE / NXOS / ACI)
- Strong diagnostic and log analysis skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment
- Effective communicator with cross-functional teams
- Documentation and procedural development experience
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent highly preferred
